Hello all. The forum is having a lot of issues at the moment as you have probably seen. I am trying to rectify them as I write this. I do apologise for this and please know I am doing everything I can.

Interclub Meeting
What is the interclub weekend?
The interclub weekend was first run in 2005 at Bicheno and was coordinated by the TSDC. Basically many of the independent dive clubs from around Tasmania got together in Bicheno for a weekend of diving and other activities such a spud hunt, the "SCUBA Olympics" and the navigation challenge. An evening was held where guest speakers spoke about diving related issues. This was a highly successful weekend with about 40 odd divers from around the state getting together.
The next inter club weekend was coordinated by Ken and the guys from Ocean Divers plus once again the weekend was held in Bicheno and was a great success. The Guys from Ocean Divers added the underwater Photographic competition which was a great addition to the event as well as the other activities including a great night with some excellent guest speakers.
Interclub Dive Weekend 2008
The TSDC intends to run the next interclub weekend on the Queens Birthday long weekend 7-9th June 2008 at Bicheno. This time of year offers a number of advantages being the best time of year to dive Bicheno (after all that is the aim of weekend) and uni students are on holidays and being a long weekend should make it easier for people to attend and get more diving in. We are yet to develop a program for the weekend so will be open to suggestions.
